Joan joined Pharmacy 101 in April 2000. She is originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, but has lived in several small Ontario towns, accompanying her husband who worked for Ontario Power Generation. They started in Deep River, then moved to Kincardine and in 1999, settled in scenic Cobourg.

Joan became a Certified Pharmacy Technician by the Ontario College of Pharmacists in 1997. Joan is a part of the team that prepares weekly blister pack medications for our customers in the community as well as working in the dispensary part-time.

On her free time, Joan enjoys a variety of hobbies and is the proud grandmother of 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.
