Despite the busy-ness of life, Susie is perhaps most proud of her three amazingly funny boys, of whom she is happy to be able to describe as… “normal”. To keep fit, Susie has run marathons… VERY SLOWLY :)
James Jin, Pharmacist
James and Susie opened Pharmacy 101 back in 1998. Who would have known that they would have such an impact in Cobourg's healthcare. He is proud to be working with such talented and competent co-workers.
James has completed the injection training requirements of the Ontario College of Pharmacists. He can give the standard flu shot as well as other shots including shingles and hepatitis shots.
To keep healthy, James enjoys playing squash and tennis, as well as running marathons with Susie!
Lori Groves, Pharmacist
Lori graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto in 1993, where she was a classmate of James and Susie. If you have any drug questions, Lori would be happy to help you. She spends the mass of her work day in the front dispensary.
Rebecca Tavares, Pharmacist

Rebecca joined the Pharmacy101 team in March 2013 as a University of Toronto pharmacy student working with Susie. After her placement, she completed a pharmacy internship at the Greater Niagara General Hospital. Rebecca obtained her pharmacy license in September 2013, and came back to Cobourg to rejoin the gang as a newly minted pharmacist. If you don’t see her out front, she’s likely working as a liaison pharmacist with one of the retirement/long-term care homes, completing a medication review, or meeting with a patient for smoking cessation counseling. In her spare time, Rebecca eats brunch, jogs, plays tennis (poorly), reads, travels, and watches Netflix.

Tammy Stevenson, Pharmacy Assistant
Tammy has been working at Pharmacy 101 for over 10 years now. She is a Pharmacy Assistant who knows everyone in town! She is well experienced at fulfilling a variety of positions within the store, including dispensary assistant, imputing, and customer care. Tammy greets customers and can provide information in a multitude of areas.
Tammy enjoys her spare time shopping, and when able, going to the spa. She is delighted to spend the majority of her extra time keeping busy with family and friends.
Jennifer Wegg, Pharmacy Assistant, Certified Fitter for Compression Stockings
Jennifer started working at Pharmacy 101 in October 2002. She is a Pharmacy Assistant. Jennifer is also a Personal Support Worker who previously worked with seniors in a retirement home. This background has helped Jennifer in her career in retail pharmacy. In particular, these skills help Jennifer serve the needs of long term care residents.
At Pharmacy 101, Jennifer manages the compliance packs for the community as well as being involved in various aspects of supplying medications to the nursing homes.
Jennifer is a Certified Fitter for Compression stockings. She is also available to help with your other home health care needs.
Jennifer is a local resident of Cobourg. When not at work she enjoysspending time with her husband, family & friends. She enjoys camping, bowling, baseball and playing with her dog.
Erin Waites, Pharmacy Assistant, Certified Fitter for Compression Stockings
Erin has been working with the Pharmacy101 team since 2002. Erin was born and raised in Northumberland County and takes pride in being part of a hometown friendly pharmacy. Erin works full-time and takes part of many different aspects of the pharmacy. Her main area though is taking care of the medications for nursing home residents.
In her free time she enjoys reading, camping, and walking the dog. She also takes pleasure in spending time with her two girls.
Donna Cody, Front Store Manager
Donna joined Pharmacy 101 in October 2005. Donna is our Front Shop Manager. She is experienced in marketing, sales, retail support, merchandising, ostomy care and promotions.
When you visit Pharmacy 101, look for Donna to assist you for all your front shop needs. She can provide assistance in locating all store products and completing special orders.

Melanie Portelli, Pharmacy Assistant
Melanie started working at Pharmacy101 in June 2015. She has been working in pharmacy since 2004. Melanie fulfills the position of a dispensary assistant, while also filling a variety of other positions around the store. She can be of assistance when filling prescriptions, imputing, and ordering.
Melanie enjoys keeping busy with her three children, and cycling around Cobourg. On her spare time she also enjoys watching a good movie.
Jennifer Taggett, Pharmacy Assistant
Jennifer started working as a Pharmacy Assistant at Pharmacy 101 in September 2014. She fulfills a range of positions around the store. The majority of Jennifer’s time at the pharmacy is spent filling community packages, with some time spent doing deliveries.
Jennifer spends the greater part of her spare time keeping busy with her family.
Bill Robb, Home Health Care Consultant, Deliveries
Bill started at Pharmacy101 in March of 2009. He is the main delivery driver in addition to fulfilling multiple positions inside the pharmacy. Bill assists in preparing community packages, as well as home health care products in the front shop. He can also provide assistance when choosing a walker.
Bill can be seen utilizing his spare time outdoors, by kayaking and surfing. His positive attitude makes him enjoyable to converse with.
Deana Jilesen, Store Administrator
Deana started working at Pharmacy101 in September of 2008. She fulfills the store administrator position, in addition to a range of positions around the store. Deana can provide assistance with product sales, and in the dispensary.
Deana was born and lived in Lindsay before moving to Cobourg where she continued to raise her four boys.
Deana optimizes, on her spare time, to enjoy the outdoors by kayaking, cycling, and gardening. Along with riding her motorcycle, she especially enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Jane Cornell, Certified Fitter of Compression Stockings
Jane started working at Pharmacy 101 in November 2012. At Pharmacy 101 she fulfills a multitude of positions, including customer service, dispensary assistant, and being a certified compression fitter. Jane can provide assistance when locating products and filling prescriptions.
Jane especially enjoys spending her spare time with her grandchildren and family. Along with quilting and playing cards, Jane takes joy in lawn bowling and golfing.
Sara Sherwin, Customer Service
Sara started working at Pharmacy101 in June of 2015. She fulfills a variety of positions at the store, including customer service, and retail orders. Sara can provide assistance when ordering in products or looking for particular products within the store.
Sara completed her Bachelor’s at Trent University, and obtained a Bachelor of Education at Lakehead.
Sara spends her spare time enjoying the outdoors, and doing yoga. She also loves to read, and spend time with family and friends.
Jesse Robb, Customer Service
Jesse starting working in the customer service field at Pharmacy101 in December 2014. Jesse is currently a student at the Cobourg Collegiate Institute, who plans to further his education in the field of business. Jesse fulfills a variety of positions at the pharmacy, some of which include cashier, stocking shelves, and customer service.
Jesse spends his spare time playing hockey, and the guitar. He also enjoys spending his extra time on vacation with family.
Nicholas Jin, Big Boss
Nicholas is the oldest of the Jin brothers. He can be quite helpful filling in at different technical aspects of the store. He knows how to run the machinery that help dispense medications. Nicholas knows how to drive now, so he will be on the road soon, bring prescriptions to a neighbourhood close to you!
Magnus Jin, Mini Boss
Magnus is son #2. He helps out answering phones calls and putting medications on the shelves. Magnus likes to keep the Pharmacy nice and tidy.
Tristan Jin, Speedy Boss
Tristan enjoys coming to work after school. He helps fill up the vials for the dispensary. Tristan is very social and likes to help out at the cash register.
Danielle Goodall, Customer Service
Danielle is a part-time employee who attends CCI High School. She always has a pleasant smile and is willing to help out where ever is needed.
Danielle plays badminton with Magnus & Tristan at the Port Hope Racquet Club. Watch out for her smash! She's good.
